Total Metal Zone commence à avoir un impact au-delà de nos frontières française. Nous avons un petit groupe qui nous vient de Hollande et que j'ai eu l'occasion de voir en concert grâce à l'association MyFist. Voici le groupe au nom super chelou: Kaasschaaf.

Amateurs de son bien lourd mais aussi rapide, le jeu instrumental de Kaasschaaf est super bon, on a un batteur très bon dernier ses fûts pour assurer. La basse est très peu audible mais la guitare est bien présente et défonce tout. Parlons un peu de la particularité du groupe: le chant. Si vous avez les groui groui, vous allez mega kiffer, le groupe nous sort du grind en plus de l'instrumental. Pas très amateurs du grind, le groupe me plaît car les autres musiciens assurent et ça change. 

Après avoir parlé du groupe, parlons un peu de leur album: Punanidectomy. L'album est bon mais un What The Fuck, ça colle bien avec le groupe. Chaque titre est excellent même avec le groui groui et certaine transition nous étonne. Je me suis tapé des barres sur certaines. Revenons un peu plus sur le plus intéressant, la composition des morceaux. Le chant est assuré par deux personnes, un qui nous fait du groui groui et l'autre qui a un chant plus puissant que j'ai du mal à classer, je l'avoue. A côté de ça, on a une guitare et une basse qui assure malgré que la basse ne soit pas assez audible. Et ne pas oublier, la batterie. Super dure de l'oublier car c'est l'instrument qu'on entend le plus. Et ça, c'est cool.

Le groupe ayant décidé de faire une édition limitée, un titre qui frôle l'ovni mega WTF, essayez donc de vous la procurer.

J'aimerais rajouter une chose dont je parle jamais la jaquette. Punanidectomy a une jaquette que j'ai eu du mal à croire que c'était bien ce que je pensais. Le groupe a bien confirmé que les 7 nains jouaient avec Blanche-Neige. On voit d'ailleurs que la taille ne compte pas :-D 
Je viens de niquer votre enfance avec les Kaasschaaf.

Amateurs de Grind, de son bien bourrin. Avant de vous donner juste l'étiquette que c'est du bruit et des groui groui, écoutez les quand même pour découvrir car j'aime bien pour ma part.

Total Metal Zone is starting to have a serious impact outside of France. We are going to talk about a band that comes all the way from Holland et that I had the chance to see playing, thanks to the association MyFist. Here is the band with the crazy name: Kaasschaaf.

 

Lovers of heavy but also fast metal, the instrumental playing of Kaasschaaf is really good. The drummer does the job perfectly well, the bass is cruelly missing but the guitar is clearly audible and kicks ass. Now lets talk about the feature of the band: the vocals. If you like Pig squeals you're going to love it ! The band is more on the Grindcore side adding to the instrumental parts. I'm not a big fan of Grindcore but I love the band for the awesome playing of each musicians, because good musicians are quite hard to find these days.

 

After talking about the band, lets talk about their album: Punanidectomy. We could really well define this album with a good "What the fuck ??" ! Each song is great, even with the pig squeals and some peculiar transitions. In fact I really had a good lough on a few songs !

 

Now lets talk about the most interesting: the arrangement. The vocals are taking care of by two singers, one does the pig squeals and the other has a more powerful singing, that is quite difficult to put in a certain genre. On the other side, the guitar and bass both kick ass, even if the bass isn't really there. And then there are the drums, the most powerful instrument in the album. In fact you can really well hear the drumming and that's great.

 

Because the arrangement of the album is sometimes quite weird, lets take a look at the tracklist:

The band has decided to make a limited edition of the album, adding really weird song to the list, try and get it it's worth it !

 

I'd like to talk about one last thing that is often forgotten: the album cover. At first I didn't really realise but on Punanidectomy's cover we can see the 7 dwarfs "playing" with snow white. An other proof that size doesn't count ! You can now thank Kaasschaaf for ripping your childhood apart !

 

If you like Grindcore, pig squeals and heavy stuff try this album ! I tried and I Iove it !
